search and the volunteers and how she and her family are holding up. >>> good evening, this is nbc bay area news tonight. i'm jessica aguirre. yep, here we go again. most bay area counties are recommending we all mask up again indoors, regardless of whether you're vaccinated or not. the only two places not making that move is napa and solano counties. alameda, marin, contra costa issued an order to again wear masks indoors. the reason? the more infectious delta variant helping to drive up a spike in cases. here's a look at what's going on in the bay area. the curve is from the department of health and san francisco chronicle. it shows the average new cases since january. the right side the rises in the past month. although we're not seeing as many as the winter surge, we are being asked to mask up. 76% of the eligible resident vgs been vaccinated but it's not enough to keep cases from climbing. >> we have had a tripling in our number of covid cases over the last three weeks. and we think much of it may be to the rising, more transmissible delta variant. >> some businesses are already pivoting ba
