first want to talk about the nds because they have been a little bit gusty tonight.hey will be again tomorrow. we had quite a surge as the first showers were coming on through. winds still gusting to 32 miles per hour at the top of the hour now. they'll get a little bit lighter and then tomorrow afternoon wind gusts will really be picking up, especially as the colder air comes in. not terribly cold out there now. still 60 degrees. remember it well because the high temperatures that we hit in the next -- or the temperature in the next hour or two will likely be our high temperature for the day. most of the day we'll be dropping to near 40 and maybe even colder as we go through the day. check out the cold air coming. buffalo is down to 32 degrees. chicago 29. fargo, north dakota 25. and st. louis 41 degrees. so a nice cold shot coming. this is where our system is developing on that contrast of temperatures and it will be moving through our area tomorrow. in terms of our max hd futurecast, notice what we're seeing at 11:00. how nicely it's picking up that band of snow.
