senator manchin, you've been working with us on some of these amendments that we're dealing with within nda averages but i know you also greatly -- ndaa, but i know you also greatly prefer to pass them as part of our larger energy bill. mr. manchin: we've put, senator murr cow cooperation our staffs have put together a bipartisan energy package which is comprehensive. our country needs every part of it to be enacted. every part of it. our natural energy policy policy hasn't been updated since 2007. that was the same year of the iphone's release. there has been ten different iphone models to keep up with a world that is constantly evolving since 2007. but we haven't been able to do the same for energy policies. so it's long overdue. getting this updated and enacted is long overdue and i hope that every one of my colleagues will come together to support this bill in its entirety, in it's entirety, rather than moving it in pieces. that's what we want to prevent from happening. 72 of my fellow senators have language in this bill that they've either sponsored or cosponsored. let's move this bill
