near but thes canyon. it started at 1--near bu t ts canyon. we report from the fire lines. >> reporter: it is quite a scene here in the estates state estates community, as you can see--states community, as you can see here, the fire is literally in the backyards of the homes, putting roughly 180 homes in this community in danger. ten air tankers, dozers, hand crews, and 60 engines immediately attacked the fire. this area has a history of fires and firefighters are well aware of the dangers they post to communities with only one way with n and one way out. >> a lot of problems in this area. but we know who the weather is going to do and we know where to deploy resources. so we have is that working to our advantage. and we are hoping to use our knowledge to get the fire under confederate troll quickly- -under control quickly. >> reporter: robert lopez quickly returned to his home to get things when he heard about the fire. >> this is california, so you have a lot of fires here. so we are just kind, we are always ready. >> reporter: the fire burn
