kathy: police and el cajon, california have released video of a fatal shooting that's sparked days of protests, including more tonight. one video is from a nearby restaurant. the other was recorded by a bystander. police say it shows alfred olango take what it calls a shooting stance with an object in his hand before he was shot. the object was not a gun, but an electronic cigarette. the man's sister had called 911 to get him help because she said we are learning more about the moments before milwaukee police shot and killed a man in sherman park last month, which triggered nights of violent unrest. a friend who was with sylville smith that night talked to the milwaukee journal sentinel from jail. demario pritchard says smith was carrying a gun when officers in unmarked squads pulled up, boxing them in their car near 44th and auer. pritchard says he and smith jumped out of the car and ran. pritchard says he fell, then heard four gunshots. he didn't see smith get shot. officer's body camera shows smith holding a gun and turning towards the officer when he was shot in the chest and arm. the video has not been released. patrick: investigators say
