news the man shot and killed in november when it was reaching for nec electronics kill his pocket. today the d.a. decided not to charge the two officers in the shooting. derek jones was killed by 2 oakland police officers following a domestic disturbance call. kron 4 spoke to joan's sister about today's decision. >> not enough evidence to pursue criminal charges against two officers involved in the shooting death of 37 year-old derek jones. that is the message that the a gate to jones's family on tuesday. i spoke to derek jones sister and she told me there were a shock and outrage among some family when they heard the d.a.'s decision. in fact, for the next two and 1/2 hours the went back and forth with the d.a. trend figure out why there are no charges against the officers in the case. she told me ultimately the d.a. to the family there's not enough evidence or witnesses to pursue criminal charges. the jones family they say they will not give out seeking justice in this case. did they will now focus on the civil case against these two officers and the oakland police department. ala
