political analyst ellis and ned ryan, good to see you guys. ow, ned, at least when it comes to these two candidates -- granted, people tune in, they're interested, it's a vice presidential debate and interesting election cycle, but these two candidates suck up all the oxygen in the room? >> part of the problem next week is first of all you have half the viewership. last night 100 million people watching. next week if you base it off the biden-ryan debate, you will have half the audience. what's going to take place is a lot of policy discussed. which is a good thing. mike pence is one of the greatest communicators, longtime congressman, governor, he's not going to be guilty of what donald trump was last night. trump was guilty of trying to answer the questions. i think what pence is going to do is deflect and pivot. trish: that's exactly it. he needed to just sort of pivot. pivot more. >> guilty of answering the questions. trish: mike pence is no sarah palin, right? >> for sure. trish: sarah palin dictated that tunin, she was such a big personal
