here is neil cavuto. neil: we still cannot call this thing for the democrats. polls have been closed for the better part of an hour in indiana. most were closed for two hours. donald trump has easily won on the republican side but way too close to call on the democratic side. separately we are awaiting ted cruz supporters in indianapolis later this hour, maybe just a few minutes away. so we'll be listening to that and getting a game of where the candidate stand. we have the latest delegate count on both side to share with you. jeff, do we know exactly what mr. cruz is planning to say? >> we have no indications at this point that ted cruz is going to drop out of this race here tonight in indianapolis. this is not pretty. i'm looking at the county by county numbers. i count two counties, and we have 92, two counties where he lead. ted cruz that is. this is a nasty loss, but there i no indication from anyone that he's going to drop out. two of the super pacs who are never trumpers put out statement saying they are not done yet. they are going to fight on. ted cruz

neil, it's yours. neil: thank you very much, stuart. we've got a lot more focusing from the president trying to do a lot more explaining on the jobs report, have some folks thinking the r word, recession. this is what we know right now. stocks are down but not as down as they were growing confidence because the report was so awful, the federal reserve certainly would try to hike interest rates in the middle of that. these guys often get it wrong. but i just deposit that out there for a quick snapshot. all right. ahead of, we've got dagen, dr barton, smart trade founder. dagen, to you. to still say the recovery is on. technically it is. 160,000 new jobs. nothing to sneeze at, but it is obviously below the first quarter of 200,000 plus. so how does he position that? >> he's going to try to spend it as well as he can. but, neil, this is after we found out that the economy was barrel growing in the first three months of the year. half of 1% was your growth. you saw the jobs number come in weak today. much weaker than expected. you had labor

neil: i do not think so.you think about the dollar, that was a hot topic for the past year and a half. despite the strength in the dollar, u.s. core inflation accelerated last year so as the dollar -- core inflation in the u.s. has room to move higher. francine: when will the fed hike? neil: above their target for a period of time. to the extent they will come back to target, they will let the next recession take care of that. i think september is a reasonable baseline. one of the things we are seeing is the idea of theory and hand. his orthodox phillips curve theory working? or is it every economist for themselves? neil: the unemployment rate is down and rates are picking up. it seems the phillips curve is working. i agree it is flat but once you are at these low levels of unemployment, then the curve -- tom: you are not concerned about a bimodal to america's? matt king at citigroup has that ,reat chart showing the poor the waiters, the busboys are doing great and people like vonnie quinn are doing great. it

neil: yes.o the lp -- when i say personally at hudson hill, you deal with limited partners, many investors also invest in other hedge funds. neil: this is ongoing and a persistent conversation always with our investors. erik: how will we see yet evolve over time? neil: investors are going to go with their feelings. they will redeem the hedge funds they don't feel like giving them something that is worth the fees they are paying, and that will force hedge funds out or force them to lower their fees. erik: we have seen a number of redemptions, larger macro funds have returned capital to investors either voluntarily or involuntarily. will that continue? neil: there have been massive outflows to begin with, and hedge funds have seen some lows, but the results of the general shifting around the act of rotation into some. so regular demand for hedge funds, there could be more at output. erik: where does the industry go from here, and specifically -- so that is broad, and specifically, how are you mana
