neil, it's yours. >> stuart, this is neil cavuto. i live in new jersey, i have to wait for friday, right? got it. good luck on that. thank you, stuart, very, very much. let take a look at oil prices, shall we? they are slipping a little bit even as oil executives are grilled. something interesting, the oil reserves we had announced today were a little higher than thought. now we're getting a better idea who is going to be tapping those reserves. we're learning that iea members, international energy association members, are going to be kicking in a lot. president biden said he will tap the reserve by about a million barrels a day maybe for 60 days. now we're learning from the iea, they're kicking in 120 million barrels over that same period. so you know, obviously that will be a lot of oil flooding the market at the same time. now keep in mind all of these numbers are but a fraction of our overall demand, that is about 100 million barrels a day. but it is an excuse to sell. that is what we're seeing. so we're coming off of that. the d

neil? >> neil: as you have been reporting, trey, there is going to be this sort of solidifier that putin hopes that eastern portion of the country, how is president zelensky preparing for that next phase? >> it's a great question. it's part of the strategic plan right now by the ukrainian government that basically lay out representative examples of why ukraine needs more tanks. artillery units and also air defense systems. president putin of russia is looking to completely control the region, partially controlled right now by russian backed separatists. if he can do so, he connect that area of land to crimea and also some southern territorial gains by russian forces. that's exactly what president zelenskyy is trying to avoid and the reason he is calling for the new weaponry. >> neil: thank you. let's talk to the ambassador from moscow. thank you for joining us. your take on this latest wave of vladimir putin. he says it has nothing to do with what he claims was not a ukrainian sinking of th

neil? >> neil: thanks, jeff paul to peter doocy at the white house where i told you the president is meeting with their top military commanders. there's talk of more aid on the way. time is of the essence, right, peter? >> as the pentagon leaders are over here meeting with the commander in chief who have to sign off on anything that they want to do, they are carefully watching where the russians are in ukraine like jeff just talked about and taylor what we're sending over there by the billion dollar to the latest on the ground. >> we made a strategic decision given that we've seen russia reposition their troops and their military to the eastern part of ukraine to fight a different kind of war on the ground, which will be more, you know, kind of shooting back and forth through long range. so we have been working with the ukrainians and the ukrainian military to determine the kind of security assistance that they need for this stage in the war. >> white house officials are not saying how much

neil? neil: hillary vaughn, thank you very much. the bottom line are is there is something in the wart here because there are a lot of -- water because there are a lot of initiatives very similar to this. for example, in california the push by the governor right now to shift the definition of a full workweek from 40 hours to 32 hours. that means that anything over 32 hours would count as overtime, and for a lot of businesses it would be an immediate expense. ed renzi is a former macdonald's usa ceo -- mcdonald's usa ceo with. what do you think, first off, of this plan? the governor's very serious about it, and he that has pretty big support in the dominant democratic legislature. >> sure. california's always been on the leading edge of smart things and dumb things. i think that there's been a lot of experiments around the world, iceland most recently did a 32 workweek, 32-hour work workweek. in the united states, in california particularly, this is going to affect about 3,000 businesses if they have over 500 employees, can and they'

neil? claypool, civil rights attorney and i thought it was great to get him on to talk about how far government or local authorities or national authorities can go pushing a mask requirement so brian, thank you for joining us. how far do you go? let's say this is successfully appealed that this florida judge 's decision to takeaway the mask mandate on planes, like right now, let's say it's overruled and it's successful. then do we have to all put masks back on, what's the deal? >> yeah, hey, neil, great to be back with you. can you spell chaos when it comes to these mask mandates and these vaccine mandates? the starting point for all of this , neil, we talked a lot during the pandemic about these mandates but the starting point is there are no state and federal laws on the books that deal with mask mandates or vaccine mandates. that's creating this confusion across the country. that said though, you ask a million dollar question about a year ago when i was on your show during the pandemic.

neil? >> neil: thank you, alex. makes of vladimir putin's statgy right now. sounds like a take no prisoners strategy and sounds like he's going to double down and triple down. a general hired to do this job that was butchering civilians in syria. what do you make of this? >> what you're seeing is -- first, thank you for having me on what you're watching is vladimir putin is in fact taking a step back. becoming president of russia and turning the war over to his generals. the general known as the butcher of syria like you mentioned is ruthless. what we're seeing in eastern and southern parts of the country is that he's pausing all the units, consolidating forces, getting in reinforcements and supplying them. granted you'll have a lot of green and new recruits but he's leveraging what russia has. that is a great number of bodies that can overwhelm the ukrainians. at this point europe is going to have to come through as well as the united states quicker and faster and more lethal weaponry. we're not doing that. germany

neil: i gotcha. dave, streaming stocks, buying for folks, could go well past the proverbial sky well into space. they realize there is a limit to growth potential here, parceling out, looking for more advertising, layered tier format for customers to keep coming might be a sign, you know, tech technology investors themselves are seeing, running away from now. is there something here about technology in general that goes beyond the streaming, guys, to maybe what we're seeing in general for the group that was priced for perfection and priced for the idea of being these were solid companies, most, large cap players are. what do you think? >> i think there are a lot of layers to that question, neil. neil: yeah. >> i know we're short on time, get into the short ones. i don't think that is universal. i think the streaming thing, i'm an old, i started my career in the cable television business and the idea of bundling where you could kind of hide costs for program something what built the world we have and
