we speak to nelly gutierrez. today, she reveals new details to us on 20/20 about what happened inside the mansion in terms of her relationship with the family and what she has talked about over the last couple of weeks. more than that, we interview a man who was on the other side of two separate attacks and he explains a coming face-to-face with darren wint almost cost him his life. jummy: police are still saying if they do not know if darren wint was working by himself or with others involved. ryan: that is a big part of this. what we have done on "20/20" is we have grabbed the blueprints of the mansion -- we can take you inside to try to figure at happened inside and also explain how these other people might have been involved. police are really digging through every little piece of evidence they can find. the key will be -- what does that evidence turn up and what can they find on that evidence that could lead them to others? you know as good as i do that when wint was arrested, he was with five others -- thos

the urgency apparent in his wife, amy's, voice message to their long-time housekeeper, nelly gutierrezwhich we are now hearing for the very first time. . >> reporter: so nelly agreed to help clean the new karate studio because it appeared to be important to amy. she also suggested that their other housekeeper work at the studio with nelly. >> reporter: the crazy turn of events started on wednesday. vera didn't want to stay late to clean the studio so she decided to work at the savopouloslvevopoulos house instead. it was a decision that ended up costing her life. a source close to the family says savas was at the studio when he received a call from his wife luring him back home. investigators believe amy, their son phillip and housekeeper vera figueroa were already held hostage inside. savvas arrives home and hours later at 9:35 wednesday night, investigators believe the suspect, darron wint, forced him to make a call. >> reporter: good night. those words, the last nelly would ever hear again from savvas, a man she had nope more than two decades. and on thursday morning, just before 10
