police say it happened around 9:30 last night at the aquatic park near the end of van ness avenue and the municipal pier. police taped off the block and were out looking for evidence. officials say that the officer involved is one of the u.s. park police. they say that the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. it happened about 10 p.m. last night. a gun was recovered at the scene. one person has been detained. so far, yet, no word of any motive. >>> right now, in san jose two residents are displaced after an overnight duplex fire. it happened around just after 10 p.m. last night. a fire started at this duplex. the fire extended from the patio into the building itself. neighbors even tried to help knock down the fire. there had been reports of smoke extending into santana row due to the slight breeze. >> our dispatchers started seeping calls of an outside -- our dispatcher started receiving calls of on outside fire from the duplex. it was extending through patio framework into the structure itself. >> residents were able to safely evacuate from the duplex. no one was
