netflix stream last friday. this is all about the big boxing match between mike tyson and jake paul. one viewer is actually suing. los gatos based netflix says more than 60 million homes tuned in to watch this fight. thousands of people reported issues from outages to slow buffering. a lawsuit was filed yesterday in florida seeking a class action status. the man suing netflix didn't specify damages, but accused the company of a breach of contract because of issues with that live stream. netflix has not immediately returned our calls for comment on this lawsuit. this isn't the first time netflix has struggled with the popular live stream. last year, the company apologized after viewers had trouble with the live reunion for its hit reality show love is blind. the next big live event for netflix is nfl's christmas day game between the texans and ravens, with beyonce performing the halftime show. outgoing mayor london breed is giving a boost to small businesses in san francisco aimed at moving the bay area forward.

i original streamer, netflix? i think netflix is still the king of streamers as you say. the dominant player that was once return those dvds by mail and now it has emerged into the streaming giant. it has a such a broad array of content. and it has an ability to generate excitement when some of its new original show is dropped and i think that is reflected in the fact when it was one of the first streamers to turn a profit. disney is proving to be the real challenger in what has been a very competitive market. you mention the fact that ed bundles disney plus with other things like hulu and also max. that is significant because increasingly, we have seen consumers, especially under pressure from the cost of living crisis, either cancelling or pausing subsections and so when you bundle more offerings together, it creates a better deal for consumers that makes it harder, if you like, to cancel. i think thatis if you like, to cancel. i think that is also something to watch and i think that is why we are seeing more of these bundles across the streaming market at the moment. a

netflix acknowledging that.nba and keeping some basketball content, but let's start with the netflix match. this was a really big deal. 60 million, a ton of viewers. obviously we'll be getting more stuff like this down the road. how significant was the issues they have with streaming to all households? >> the content was a snore fest. i went to my first ufc fight at msg and it was electric relative to watching the netflix match. look, what did the netflix match show you, becky? it showed you the power of scale. when you reach 280 million households around the world, bringing in 60, it's like 20% of netflix households worldwide tuned in. it's a huge number for television yet still a small number for netflix given how big the platform is. i think it shows you their live strategy is working. they can make events. when you have the reach and engagement, you can drive excitement and build enthusiasm for a live event unlike any other platform. i think it just shows you, netflix is going to do more and more live events

let's put it in context a minute, though we usually talk about disney versus netflix netflix now hasrner combined. so, just in terms of what we're talking about when we talk about a traditional media company. but disney is number one in viewership meaning if you aggregate all the outlets through which disney gets viewers, it is number one that is something to leverage. also it's got about two-thirds of the streaming revenue of netflix so truly catching up two things we always talk about in terms of streaming media. one, will they get to scale, two, will the streaming profitability upside outweigh the decline of linear? scale, something i don't know why they didn't point to but to me it's more indicative than anything else. this quarter their streaming revenues exceeded their linear television network network that's big that is a scale player two, when it comes to upside of streaming versus decline of linear, they guided in this multiyear guidance to double digit earnings growth in '26-'27. to get there, they said that parks was only going to have high single digits toog the math, you
