today, sunday, the president has been in nevada.ther rally is under way, this time in carson city. nevada itself only has six electoral votes but president trump lost it narrowly by 27,000 votes in 2016 so clearly hoping to get votes there this time around. the democratic presidential candidate, joe biden, has accused president trump of lying to americans about the state of the coronavirus pandemic in the united states. campaigning in the swing state of north carolina, where 20% of registered voters have already voted, biden has urged americans to cast their ballots as soon as possible. the other night, trump said at one of his rallies, "we've turned the corner." my grandfather would say, "this guy's gone around the bend if he thinks we've turned the corner." we've turned the corner? things are getting worse. he continues to lie to us about the circumstances. experts say we're likely to lose as many as 200,000 additional lives nationwide between now and the end of the year. all because this president cares more about his park avenue

this is his second time in nevada in just about 40 days.d people here have been lined up for several hours, now several thousand people getting ready to go in and see the president. he spent last night in las vegas, about a seven hour drive south from here. but as arthel mentioned, right now he's actually in orange county, california, for a private fundraiser set to raise millions of dollars. he took the one-hour flight on air force one from las vegas spending those hours in california to raise that money. now, the election is 16 days away. in nevada, he did not win in 206. in fact, he is down right now -- 2016. he is down in nevada when it comes to polls specifically, but he took that flight and basically what we're seeing is that the number, the unemployment number is very important to people not only across the country, but very much so to people here in nevada. it is a hospitality industry. in april at the height of the pandemic, it was at about 30%, now it's at about 12.6%. the president did win michigan and wisconsin, who places that

let's start with nevada. there you see it.hese are returned mail-in votes, 70,000 by democrats, 31,000 republicans. double the number of republicans in nevada so far in early voting. then we have pennsylvania, i mean, look at those numbers. man, seems like the republicans are getting wiped out in early voting. these are the mail-in ballots that have been returned so far. and then we also after a this have -- who do we have next? north carolina where we saw jacqui heinrich earlier, not as much, more republicans there one would think but still, overwhelming for the democrats. and finally we have florida. very important state. more democrats voting by mail than republicans. what can you -- can you determine anything from that? they always say more republicans vote in person than democrats. so how would you analyze these numbers and would they indicate a potential joe biden win or is that not possible to extrapolate that at all? >> i think you have to be very cautious in interpreting these numbers. this election is completely tops

i think a great example of the contrary is nevada. one of the things we looked at very carefully was the rush to automatic mail ballots in the primary where the data show things did not go very well. take clark county, 1.3 million ballots were automatically mailed. 230,000 roughly bounced back as undeliverable which means there are bad voter rolls, bad addresses, people are dead. 310,000 came back. 310,000 out of 1.3 million, and 7000 of those were rejected as defective, having some sort of problem. those people lost their vote. probably don't even know about it that their vote wasn't counted and, therefore, they were disenfranchised. if it gone in person those 7000 votes would have counted. hans, you mentioned research study we did. a number of years ago pew did a research study where they looked at the voter rolls around the country and found roughly, millions and millions and millions were bad. i think they said there were 2 million dead people on the voter rolls. we replicated that study at public legal interest and date will be g
