police say the 26-year-old man was shot in the chest outside the nevil nightclub on b street and allegany avenue. there are no arrests. >>> two philadelphia 7-eleven stores were robbed within a half an hour of one another. now they're trying to figure out if they're connected. robbers pistol whipped a worker in holmesburg. they took cash and cigarettes. half hour later, an employee was pistol whipped at another store at bridge and thompson streets in bridesburg. investigators are working with that store to confirm what was taken there. so far, no arrests in that case either. >>> and off duty philadelphia police officer shot and killed a robbery suspect and this morning investigators believe that shooting was justified. the officer intervened while the suspect was robbing an elderly man in the olney neighborhood. investigators say the officer yelled at the suspect to put down his gun, and the two men exchanged words and police say the man refused to drop his weapon. >> at that point, the suspect turns toward the officer, the officer engages him, i believe there is a discharge at that point
