the sea lion pup was rescued last month from alcatraz island so the medical team named him al catraz. >>> the newened for four hours. allie rasmus joins us from the doyle drive. >> reporter: hi,er to r there have been no accidents on the new doyle drive. there are a lot of people using it already this morning. traffic is slow as people make their way southbound heading toward the marina. now, there is a new pinpoint on this road -- speed limit on this road. previously the speed limit was 40 miles an hour. so the bottom line, caltrans wants drive to take this -- to take it easy as they navigate this new roadway. they've given out some speeding tickets. the first one was at 6:15 when the road was a lot less confessed -- congested. it took construction crews 57 hours of nonstop work throughout the weekend to complete the project. and there's still huge sections on the old doyle drive. that's gonna be there. that debris there, that's gonna be there for at least the next couple of months because it will take drews -- crews a while to recycle all of that. keep in mind there's the new speed limit of 35
