about 40 wildfire fighters arrived on may 10th. 20 will arrive from new brunswick on may 11th. saskachewan will help with the coordinating work. manitoba is providing 22 additional firefighting experts to augment the work being done. to the people of ontario, quebec, new brunswick and the northwest territories, let me extend sincerest thanks. i want to thank the premier and new bruns week senior brian gaulant and senior bob mcleod for this important help. they have been put under volunteer tear evacuation. residents have been moved and 450 people remain in the community. we are working with shell and the red cross to evacuate them in the event it becomes necessary. we are managing a number of other wildfires today. i will ask my colleague at the provincial center to update you on those fires in a moment. obviously this fire is affecting energy operations in the region. yesterday they are a precautionary evacuation from the facilities and civilians from the lodge. the fire could burn the edges of this today. the facility should be emphasized is highly resilient to forest fires.
