all right. >> gillian: new york city man has been caught with a whole arsenal of weapons outside one ntry's busiest airports. arrest prompting fresh fears about terrorism and social media posts. nate foye is in the new york city newsroom with the latest details. >> the queen's d.a.'s office is not charging it as terrorism but the investigation continues after a traffic stop that prosecutors may have prevented a disaster for the city of new york and possibly the entire country. judd sanson is being held without bail on weapons charges. he covered his license plate. when offices approached the car they found a knife in his leg and axe taped to the ceiling of the car. that was only the beginning. look at this. officers found a total of 11 weapons including a loaded 9 millimeter glock handgun. several knives and daggers, whip and stun-gun. the d.a. says investigators will look at his social media history to try to turn his intent. investigators also found nypd body armor and orange mta vest, a mask and bat on with disturbing phrases written in arabic. >> you add together the language that

york city wants its sanctuary status back. >> carley: council woman it's because new york city is if you cross the border, you have bad intention of course you're going to come to a city that is soft on crime. you mentioned that 53% of hispanics who are fed up about what is going on in their neighborhoods. are there any discussions taking place to change the sanctuary status of the city? >> yes. i'm part of what you call a common sense caucus in the city council, which is somewhat rare considering it's republicans. it's all of us, republicans, and only three democrats. which goes to show you, out of 51 people in the city conway, only five of us, and we could only get three democrats to latch on to the common sense end of things. we did introduce, just last week in a news conference, to bring back the sanctuary city status. if that should not succeed, which it will not in our city conway as it exits today, we want it on the back of the ballot in november so that the people can vote and decide and make sanctuary city status come back. >> carley: something needs to change and you are
