kass, i was speaking the "the new england journal of medicine" and they mentioned they worry about the fda and cdc have been politicized throughout the coronavirus pandemic. this is after them basically saying drum should not be elected the next president, not re-elected the next president of the united states. do you worry that they can't necessarily come back from this? or do you think they can, their reputation can rebound? >> i definitely their reputation can be rebounded. i think many people knew it was coming from the top down, and without that level of finger on the scale of the policies coming out of the cdc or the approvals coming out of the fda that things will go back to normal, which means the scientists will be in control, helping to figure out which vaccines are safe, which medications are safe. the cdc will start communicating the appropriate level of science. i'm very encouraged once we get out of this situation where we have federal leadership really getting in the way of appropriate science and public health, that trust will be restored very, very quickly. >> jim, let
