abc 7 news reporter vic lee is live at the hall of justice with what he's learned on this story. >> reporter: well, abc 7 news has learned that investigators here at the hall have the evidence that leads to the fact that the man committed suicide by cop, also known as blue suicide, because they do have the notes that he wrote saying that he was in a bad place. it is a sad letter, dan. i have read it and it says essentially to police that they are not to blame themselves that they did nothing wrong in shooting him, that he forced them to do that. the 32-year-old man died from his wounds at san francisco general hospital. he was shot multiple times by two police sergeants in the parking lot of mission station. it now appears it was blue suicide. the man left behind notes to his father, close friends and one addressed to police officers. the notes indicate he had financial troubles and failed relationships. it happened at around 5:20 last night. police noticed he was hanging around the station's restricted parking lot which is off-limits to the public. three sergeants exited their patrol car as

marlie hall, cbs news, new york. >>> well the northeast is getting socked with more snow as a clipper system moves across the region. piles of snow is causing headaches for thousands of residents. traffic is bumper to bumper as drivers take to the roads as crews work to clear them. meteorologist eric fisher of our boston affiliate wbz shows us more. >> everyone going to arizona thinking to soak in some sun. some pretty heavy rainfall through friday into saturday as well. as we move east the snow is really picking up in the mountains of new mexico and toward the san juans and parts of colorado. you can see the snow totals over a foot possible across the higher peaks. it's been very dry. just watch out for the travel. this storm heads out toward the plains as we head into saturday. it's going move its way due east. a spring storm across ohio illinois, indiana, p.a. and then sunday night into monday it moves toward the coast. it looks just south of the area that saw the heavy snowfall in new england but something that could be tracked and it could bring more significant snow to places li
