live in ames, vanessa peng, kcci 8 news, iowa's news leader. mark: webster county law enforcement searching for a fort dodge man charged with pouring hot grease on a dog. the webster county attorney filing an arrest warrant for 52-year-old gary wilson. prosecutors say wilson poured marley, back on november 18. earlier this month we told you about bob marley, whose owner said the grease caused second and third degree burns. also in fort dodge, the webster county sheriff arresting this man, daniel swick, for criminal mischief and burglary. investigators say swick broke into the webster county courthouse back on december 8, then set off several fire extinguishers forcing the , courthouse to close for days until the mess could be cleaned up. fort dodge police charged swick last week with breaking into a computer business down the street from the courthouse and setting off fire extinguishers. steve: a former lottery official, convicted of fraud here in iowa, now faces similar charges in kansas. prosecutors have now charged eddie tipton with rigging

onge, kcci 8 news, iowa's news leader. steve: new information tonight about a des moines roosevelt high school girls basketball coach now charged with sexual , exploitation and assault to commit sexual abuse concerning a roosevelt student. judge this morning. kcci's marcus mcintosh is live. and marcus, where is johnson now?. marcus: johnson bonded out of jail this morning and is to have no contact with any minor child. des moines police reports show there were two incidents that occurred between johnson and the 16-year-old female student. the first was december 1 when johnson used his position as a teacher to gain access to the student's personal cell number and call her. two days later, johnson pulled her out of class, and took her to his own class room where johnson allegedly kissed and touched the victim. we spoke with the mother of a varsity girls basketball player. she tells us she never noticed anything inappropriate between johnson and any of the girls on the team. she says the charges against johnson hit the girls

being able to distinguish our trucks better " every snow plow in district 1, located in central iowa, has the new lights. at least two trucks in the other d-o-t districts also have them. right now the iowa d-o-t is still looking for about 200 part time employees this winter. most of those positions are for snow plow operators. drivers are required to have a c-d-l license, but the d-o-t does provide training. you can go to the d-o-t's website to apply. the death toll from historic flooding in missouri continues to grow. missouri governor jay nixon says at least 13 people have died in flooding in that state. nixon says nearly all of them were in vehicles that drove into floodwaters on roads. the mississippi river is at or above the record flood levels from 1993. nixon says the threat remains high.
