news from martinez. a freight train derailed hours ago near the shell oil refinery. it happened near marina vista avenue and schell avenue. leigh martinez is there. >> we have limited information. we so crews on the other side of the train. if you take a look at the two tracks here, it looks like this is where the split is. if you take the track closest to the refinery, there is the possibility that the train was supposed to go in one direction but it ended up in the other direction and ended up going off of the rails. at first, it looked like it was just two. from my own observation, it looks like there might be three tankers that are off of the rails here. since we have been out here, we have seen at least four trains go past us. the train tracks on the other side appear not to be affected at all by this. it appears at least two cars have their wheels off of the rails. they are leaning into the other rails. luckily, this is not a hazmat situation. there was an officer on scene that says there was no sign of any leak. it runs next to amtrak but no word on if commuter trains are affected. w
