news this is out of our viewing area. this is manalapan. this is near jackson, this cell racing off to the east-northeast at 40 miles per hour. it is moving away over top of monmouth county. this particular warning is up until 7:15. the earlier warning for gloucester and camden counties in southern new jersey has expired. it is discontinued. now we're seeing a squall line as it extends from new york city all the way down through the heart of south jersey into the state of delaware. we're seeing winds anywhere from 40 to 06 miles per hour with this squall line here, but the good news is these winds appear to be straight line wind and not rotating winds. straight line wind damage can be as significant as tornado winds, it's just the structure is a little bit different. thing about a powerful winds blowing in the same direction that is capable of 60-mile an hour wind gusts blowing off shingles and uprooct -- uprooting trees. it won't take much with the leaves on the tree to act like a canopy when the winds blows, it gets caught in the leaves in the trees and boom, you get trees uprooted here. be careful even if you're in the camden and gloucester counties areas now,

we had two tornadoes touchdown in howell, monmouth county new jersey and micro burst that touched down in browns mills. i want to show you what to look for the difference between a tornado and straight lined wind event. the tornadoes is a hook echo. almost like a fish hook. this is what you see when you have a tornado on the ground. it's rare you get one this well-defined in this part of the country. this is the general idea for the hook as the tornadoes travels like this. you see how the damage here's part of the roof is here, and there, as the tornado spins through, it throws the debris in every direction. straight line winds you identify that on the radar with this right here as a bow echo, it takes the shape of a bow, an archer holding a bow. it is this part of the bow we see the straight lined winds. the reason it is arcing out ahead of the line, the bow is pushing it ahead of the line. if you see this bearing down be prepared for strong straight lined winds. the damage you see with straight lined winds everything blows down in the same direction. everything falling down the same

two young new jersey women have a stranger to thank for saving them after they were carried away by an ocean current. they were enjoying a walk along the rocks in avon by the sea in monmouthyesterday when one of the girls fell into the water. the other one jumped in trying to help. moment later they both needed a rescue. there were no lifeguards on duty but karen diaz was nearby and rushed in to save them. >> had the one girl on top of me and just kept going, stay alive, stay with me, keep going. she kept screaming but then she nod -- she stopped talking and i was bringing her back into shore. >> both young women were saved. they were taken to the hospital. one of them is in serious condition. the other one was treated and released. >> also new, surveillance video showing a pair of angry customers using produce to assault a clerk in the bronx. the video shows two people approaching the counter with one of them picking up some avocados. he then begins throwing the fruit at the clerk. moments later his friend joins in. they also throw bananas at the clerk. nypd say they were upset about a food order. the clerk is being treated for a broken jaw because some of the avocados w
