attend service at noon and you arrive at 11:00, you could park and then feed the meter and have it go into effect starting at noon. so, the new meters will have capability to accept credit cards, parking cards, cash, as well as pay by phone. and the older meters will be able to do three of the four. it won't be able to accept credit cards yet. so, the good news is we are in the process of issuing a new request for proposal for new meters to be used city-wide for the rest of the 75% of the meters. and we expect to receive the bids from the vendors in i think the third week of january. and we expect to start changing them out by the beginning of summer of next year. so, within a year or so, all the meters will have the full capability to accept credit cards as well. another side benefit from this particular exercise is while we're upgrading the meter operation, we will also be converting the remainder of the meters city-wide to two-hour limits as you approved, i think some time back. and the rationale behind that is that that makes it more consistent and uniform throughout the city and it allows people who need that window of t

in january of this year, i was hired by the rec and parks department as one of six new park officers, i was one of the most experience officers and the only female. based on hiring requirements, we were to complete the six month probationary period, however, a week before our probation ended, we were told we were going to be extended because of a department error, we bargained for a two month extension, i was able to work all shifts during that time frame, however, a few days before my probation was to end, i was released by the department without just cause. i would like to state i have never been released from any position in any capacity. i took great pride in my job and focused on promoting good public relations for the department, i took that extra step to assist the park rangers when possible. i believe creating positive relationships is essential to provide all. i was pleased to read in the newspaper recently that there's an effort to professional the park patrol unit, they should serve the community by upholding its mission. i hope the department will adopt written performing

eastern neighborhood pipeline projects were required to meet the new physical controls whether new parking requirements which meant going from a minimum to a maximum yard requirements, anything like that. ceiling height and things of that nature. maybe a thing of getting the commission to waive some of that but the policy was pretty complex and this was the chart that was created for the pipeline for eastern neighborhoods and it's difficult to read it up here and basically you have very many types of pipeline projects that are very different and work in different ways. the key though they want to point out here that we want to keep in mind if you want that provision for western soma most of the datesued to set up the date line for eastern neighborhoods were tied to specific events like the date of initiation and so on as opposed to setting arbitrary dates so that is something to keep in mind if we want to create one of those provisions we want to think what dates to apply to what types of applications. all right and staying in the arena of kind of land uses and legitimizing and legalizing
