"the new york times" has found similar. they got a two-year high point on people saying the country is going in the wrong direction. these are numbers we haven't seen since the depth of the recession right at the beginning of the obama administration. so people are uneasy about where things are going. that has had a clear effect on president obama's approval ratings.
