look at the heavy rain from redwood city across the bay, all the way into the fremont and newark areathe tri-valley. that nasty five 8680 corridor is pretty sloppy right now. and then we head into the north bay, where novato has plentiful rain showers. this is a powerful system. it's big. it's textbook perfect. look how tightly coiled up it is. and then the frontal boundary streams all the way back to the hawaiian islands. so that's tapping into that subtropical moisture. it's an atmospheric river. so here we go. overnight, 2:00 in the morning, you're going to hear those raindrops on the rooftops. you're going to hear the wind blowing as well. so you wake up at seven, 8:00 in the morning or you hit the road, then pretty much dry as far as precipitation is concerned. but the roadways are a mess. then at high noon again, here comes another line of heavy showers, and then at 4:00 in the afternoon, and then at 8:00 in the evening, and then hit miss scattered showers in the overnight hours until you wake up and hit the road again on friday morning. smattering of showers until about 4:00. i
