in newberry. our mike desumma has been checking out flooding all along the newberry county area this afternoon. newberry. charles, sam the city shows no signs of drying out at this point. over the last hour another another heavy downpour made its way through. that's been happening frequently since late this morning. here you can see scott's creek off wheeler street where the water level's been much higher today. higher waters been the common thing along several creeks and streams in and around the city. in one part of silverstreet today they've been keeping their eye on the saluda river. it topped its banks months ago during the historic floods --- causing a lot of damage to homes that sit at the saluda river resort. residents told me there are several people --- who are still left trying to recover from that. larry bennett --- silverstreet "uhh it got bad..campers right there.they was all under water. it was all messed up. tables and stuff right there in the bushes where it flooded a lot of stuff
