the effect will relass los angeles later today as the low pressure center moves up toward newfoundland. things will be nicer. high pressure out to the west will dominate our weather into early next week. storms coming into the pacific northwest eventually catch us. today a mix of sun and clouds. west winds 15 to 25. some gusts will be stronger than that. blude blue shaded area seen here until 6:00 this evening. eastern maryland not included in the wind advisory. as far as boaters are concerned, gail warnings in effect. gusts to 35. a two-foot chop. bay water temperatures in the 40's. they have been all winter. it has been so mild. insta-weather futurecast a few scattered clouds. a flurry might pass through here. this afternoon on those strong northwest winds but nothing to be concerned about. even tomorrow the snows will dry up in western maryland and will dry into at least the early part of the day. by wednesday we could see scattered showers and thunderstorms and over the weekend into the 30's. then we go into the 50's next week. we can't chake the mild weather. not complaining, just
