well putting myself in newlands mind cramming myself and in there. i would have to say that she looked like she was a no lose situation for for her and the neo cons. but worse that could happen would be that they would appear foolish as they are appearing they would not succeed that the russians would turn the economic screws on the ukraine and those who are trying to help them and that they certainly wouldn't get ukraine into nato and that's already happened the other no lose situation there was that in the interim the atmosphere in relations between the u.s. and russia has plummeted yeah and that's all to the good for someone like victoria nuland because she does not want the media poutine pulling obama's chestnuts out of the fire as he did on syria with those chemical weapons and she has helped iran with their nuclear development program so you know either way they don't seem to have much much shame so if they get a bloody nose as long as they're making relations with russia more troublesome then that's all to the good from there. point of view yo
