we got this video in of 56-year- old nicholas constantino being booked into the pinellas county jail. he was arrested at his clearwater home. they believe he hit and ashley padomo. ashley's mother sobbed as she opened up about the death of her little girl. >> why didn't the person stop and call 911? you know? she wasn't an animal. she was a human being. if that person had compassion, he would have tried to at least do that. call 911. and maybe she would have been alive today. >> ashley was a senior at hillsborough high school and an educational center for hillsborough county students. buckie and rosie lived at the wildlife center. investigators are not relegalling a whole lot now. a spokesman for the agent says this case is appalling. >> you say that is a senseless act? >> i have been with the agency 39 years. this is one of the more senseless acts i ha revealing how the animals animals were killed but they were in a secure pen at the facility. however, they were used to being approached by people. >>> meteorologist julie phillips is pinch-hitting tonight for steve jerve who is taking
