nicholson is making history with her appointment, she becomes san francisco's first lgbt fire chief. >>> witness testimony in the ghost ship trial is set to begin tomorrow and one of the first people the prosecution is expected to call to the stand is carol, her daughter was killed. the defense filed a motion saying that her testimony would prejudice the jury. quoted it saying that prosecutors want to use a grieving mother testimony to tug at the jurors heartstrings in hopes they will look at them to seek retribution from her heartbreak. the defendants are both charged with 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter for each of the people killed.>>> we're still seeing sprinkles out there, light showers originating up here in the hills in the sierra nevada and then this flow kind of pulled all this of. it continues to occur that's why we have scattered showers out there still, you can see most of that activity here. those will linger just a bit, nothing real heavy, earlier this afternoon we saw some thunder and lightning east of the discovery bay area, we had some reports of thunder and he
