nick, thank you for joining us. can you tell me what happened and how close you were to that avalanche? >> thanks for having me tamron. we were in the avalanche. it was unbelievably scary. you know it was probably the most scary thing, before it actually happened we heard this huge thunderous boom then this cloud of snow appeared over the ridge line just exploded over top of us. and all we could do is run for cover. and it was -- it was the most terrifying experience i've ever had to live with and i'm sure my wife included who was with me in the tent when we sort of got hit by this thing. >> nick were all the people who traveled with you and those who were around you, have they been accounted for? >> yes, our team was sort of on the edge we were protected by -- so our camp was not badly damaged. it wasn't really until we sort of survived the high winds and the insane amounts of snow being pushed in and around us that we crawled out of our tents and started to realize just what had happened, and we started to walk ar
