fox five's nick lagrange joins us live from the scene, with where the investigation stands. nick? dave and maria -- this isn't something you see, or hear about, every day. after being held up in this building last night, one of the office workers decided to run to his car to grab his gun.... ...and confront police say this happened just after seven o'clock last night. they say a man and a woman held up a physician, a patient, and the office worker at gun point. suspects demanded money and possibly drugs. officers say the suspects brutally assaulted the physician before leaving the office. that's when the office worker ran out to his car, grabbed a gun and fired several shots at the fleeing suspects. police say the female suspect times... ....and was later rushed to u-m-c where shewas pronounced dead. the physician was treated for a head wound, but should be okay. as for that male suspect, he's still out there. "we don't believe he's in the area, but we do believe he was shot, we have a message out to all of the hospitals in case someone does show up with a random gunshot wound." p

fox five's nick lagrange joins us in studio with when we can expect a decision from the legislature, and when this project might get underway. nick? because the legislature is only called into special session for the really important stuff. last week, sandoval announced the billion-dollar plant was coming to north las vegas. and he's wasted no time trying to get the 215 million dollars in tax incentives needed for the faraday project to move forward. the special session starts at five o'clock today in carson city... ...and is expected to finish within the next few days. sandoval wants the legislature to approve a new category of tax abatements that would authorize the incentives the chinese-backed automaker approved in the project's financial plan. if the legislature approves this plan -- ground could be broken on the project in january... ...and thousands of nevadans could be on their way to new employment.
