john nicklas and shanon honea were arrested thursday in middle river, maryland accused of distributing and promoting child porn. police found several bottles of prescription drugs, dvds labeled private stash. investigators believe some of these might have been filmed in hotel rooms in different cities, one titles "fun in atlanta." detectives say the couple appeared in some of the videos with one a preteen girl who appeared to be unconscious. neighbors had no idea what was going on next door. joining me a reporter for "prime news" affiliate wmar in baltimore and corporal michael hill with the baltimore county police department. dr. gail saltz psychiatrist, author of the book "the ripple effect." officer hill, let me start with you. how many victims do we have here? >> well, we're not really sure at this point. we know that we have three at a very minimum. we know we have many more just by the pictures and the videos that the detectives have found during their investigation. >> okay. and where are the victims from? how much knowledge did he have of the victims and how widespread this is

the fbi is taking an active role in the investigation of john nicklas and shannon honea. the former emt's are charged with numerous counts of child sex abuse and filling child pornography. police received several calls that they hope will locate more victims. >> which one to identify the victims to give them the help they need to help them lead a normal life. these people have no idea of the harm they have caused these children and their families and the neighborhood. >> authorities are looking into the possibility that other instances of abuse took place in states other than georgia and maryland. the suspects remain behind bars this morning. >> and national call to stand up to crime and violent in the neighborhood took place last night during the national my out. it put a residence in touch with the police that are there to keep them safe. >> the police that are out of these events will tell you that numerous people come up to them and talk to them about problems in their neighborhood. >> it teaches them a young age that they know police are here to help us fight crime i

they say the couple living inside, john nicklas and shannon honea were sexually abusing kids, taping the acts for use as child porn. >> anybody in this kind of business, in public service, we see a lot of sickening things and this was sickening. >> reporter: the victims assaulted here in essex and in hotel rooms in atlanta and elsewhere. court documents show the couple have background's as paramedic and they found prescription bottles in the basement bedroom. one victim abused there was reportedly unconscious during the assaults. >> i can't believe that they did that. >> reporter: neighbors were astounded by the news which had cops seizing dvds and computer equipment from the house. it's evidence that's led to even more questions. >> the unfortunate thing that we know we know that we have three very young victims and we don't know who they are. >> reporter: that's why baltimore county police are asking parents to take a good look at john nicklas and shannon honea, if there's a chance your kids or someone you know have spent time with them, they want you to call. >> what's paramount i
