"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer is at police headquarters right now to tell you more, nicole? >> detective on the scene trying to figure out what went went down. set the stage for that first incident that fatal beating, 2800 block of north fairhill street. police found 53 year old man laying in pool of his own blood on the sidewalk every his own home. we're told he suffered severe blunt force tram a to his head, died short time later. no word on motive. but there are reports of male seen running from the victim possibly with metal object in his hand. 2900 block of waterloo street, double shooting there, two men , taken to temple university hospital in critical condition. having suffered gunshot wounds to the torso, shortly thereafter, 37 year old was pronounced dead shortly before 2:00. >> went to find several surveillance cameras in the area where the shooting took place. so, hopefully, these cameras recorded something that could help with us our investigation. there at the top, homicide detectives searching for suspects as well as motive, crime scene personnel go ahead and

, nicole, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to both of you. these two separate shootings as you mentioned two blocks and ten minutes apart. police are investigating the fact that they may be related. let's roll video and set the scene of the first shooting that happened near philmore streets in northeast philadelphia when office's arrived they found 15 spent shell casing from his two separate guns but no victim. apparently that 22 year old male who was shot once in the thigh, ran from that scene and was taken to aria frankford hospital in stable condition. they heard gunshots from the 4600 block of frankford avenue a couple blocks from that first scene, that is where they found a 20 year-old male victim with two gunshot wounds to his groin. he was taken to aria torresdale in critical condition but is expect to survive. in addition to the victims, officers found three unattended vehicles struck by gunfire which was an unsettling sight considering how close they were parked to peoples homes. >> the intersection of darrah and fill more is mainly

. >> "eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer is in strawberry mansion right now. i understand you spoke to the victim's family members, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, that is right, ukee difficult speak with the nephew of that couple, who has identified them as 66 year-old al gladys and roofus perry, al gladys is a retired nurse from hahnemann hospital but looking behind me many family members have gathered here just looking for more answers trying to get information about what happened here overnight. according to the family members we are told this couple was in good health, in constant touch with relatives. you can imagine just how horrifying it has been and how horrifying it was for their daughter to come check on them last night and discover both bodies dead on the living room floor. it happened in the 2500 block of north spangler street in strawberry mansion. neighbors her the daughter screaming and call 911 just before 1:00. when police arrived they found perry's unresponsive and unconscious but with no signs of trauma and no forced entry in that

nicole? >> ukee, developing right now, a young girl is rushed to the hospital after a stray bullet tears through a south jersey home overnight. let's get right out to "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry live at the scene in winslow township camden county, syma? >> that's right, nicole, just got update from winslow township police. they tell us that a stray bullet went inside this house over here, and hit a 13 year old girl while she was sleeping. another stray bullet also hit a couple of houses down across the street. now, police are still on the scene investigating. this happened around 12:30, on the corner of hathaway drive and haywood lane. neighbors tell us they heard several gunshots in the area, but didn't see anyone. thirteen year old girl was at home sleeping in her bed. she was shot once in the back side. she was taken to cooper hospital with non-life threatening injuries. now, neighbors we spoke with who called 191, with one neighbor she didn't want to be identified but tells u

nicole. >> dave, lori, this surprised us.d micro devices was down over 16%, closing $6.83 a share. talk about what the chip-maker posted in latest quarter. a net loss for the second quarter. they gave a revenue forecast that missed wall street analyst estimates. as a result, several brokerage house, several analysts downgraded the stock, cut it to an underperform. for example, over at bank of america merrill lynch we saw fbr capital cutting it to market perform. canaccord kept the buy rating but had to bring down the price target to 4.50. that being said, advanced micro made a go of it. tried to expand in other areas, including gaming consoles. and low-end servers. it didn't help them with numbers they delivered in this latest quarter. there were high hopes, dave and lori, got great numbers from intel and pc demand. customer base for advanced micro devices different than business clients for intel. they didn't quite get quarter people hoping for. that is why you saw the 16% drop for advanced micro. lori: thanks for the explan

"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins us from northeast detectives, nicole. >> reporter: ukeend erika, this morning police are still investigating those two shootings and searching for three suspects who may be associated with both of those crimes. lets roll video and set the the scene for you at least for that first shooting, that happened after midnight near darrah and philmore streets in northeast philadelphia when office's arrived they found 15 spent shell casing from his two separate guns but no victim. that 22-year old male was shot once in the thigh ran from that scene, two aria frankford hospital in stable condition. now while there officers then heard multiple gunshots coming from the 4600 block of frankford avenue again just a couple blocks away and that is where they found a 20 year-old male victim with two gunshot wounds to his groin area he was taken to aria torresdale hospital in critical condition but is expect to survive. in addition to the victims officers also found three unattended vehicles also struck by gunfire unsettling site considering how close they we
