"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins us at police headquarters to bring us up to date, nicole, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you guys. he was fleeing officers for a very good reason, because he struck a with man with the vehicle abduct her, and assaulted her according to police. young woman survived that terrifying attack and in pursuit of the suspect again police opened fire. it all happen in the 7300 block of ditman avenue where police spotted aid green camry that fit description of the car involve in the abduction monday night. when police approached the vehicle the driver threw it in reverse. the officer a's partner opened fire, striking the car's rear windshield and persued that car for a mile until it the collided with another vehicle at frankford and cottman. pretty wild scene there we are told suspect fled on foot but was caught a short time later. he did put up a fight and that forced officers to use a taser before his arrest. he was taken to aria torresdale with mine are injuries. a as for that female victim one that i mentioned at the top here she's in
