will: retired fbi special agent nicole parker joins us now to the react. nicole. new photos, new information here. what does it tell you about the case against brian walsh? >> as a former special agent, i have conducted investigations into similar cases where the husband has killed the wife. obviously, he is innocent until proven guilty. this is a first-degree murder charge. they will need to prove intent. but the evidence is mounting. it looks very sold for the prosecution. pete: but, nicole, as we read, today haven't found, sadly, they haven't found the body yet. i mean, how much of his defense would be i didn't do it, there's no body and you can't prove it? how much of a hurdle is that for investigators? >> you know, that's always going to be defense's first statement is, oh, you know, there's no body, they're just missing. i can tell you end typically people that go missing in studies performed by the fbi in the past, about 70% of the people that are missing are found within 24-48 hours. but the no body factor is not something that is going to stop fro

let's bring in nicole parker, former fbi agent and nicole joining us now. you left the agency because it became too political and what do you think about defunding the fbi. >> i served with honor in the fbi and there's issues and seems to be a continuous pattern of politicization at the fbi starting from the top and trickling down to the field offices and i served in miami division and it just became overwhelming and became difficult to do our job and those of us not even working politically-related investigations were feeling the effects of those that were. i just made the difficult decision to walk away. i felt like i could make a stronger impact in the country somewhere else, and many of my former colleagues feel the same as i do and unfortunately they're not in the position to speak up. there's many, many hard workers at fbi that are not politicized trying to do the right thing. they need their pensions frankly. why should they be punished because the fbi turned so political at tail end of their career. >> i want to make the differentiation and great fb

more on what normally happens on these types of meetings we are joined by the fbi special agent nicole parker. thanks for coming on. we appreciate your time. this meeting had nothing to do with the whistleblower allegation but if you can, give us an idea of what happens in these types of meetings. are they trying to get this thing dismissed? what's your thought? >> it's hard to now without being present in the meeting so i want to be careful to not make any false assumption but based on my experience with a special agent with the fbi conducting these types of cases on the white-collar side, many times you have a subject or a defendant and you as an fbi agent have conducted a very thorough investigation you have evidence of a crime that may have been committed and you have such mounting evidence that the defendant comes into the office and you could potentially have what we call a reverse proffer you as an fbi agent will sit down with the defendant and their attorney and say this is what we have on you and do you want to proceed with maybe a plea agreement or information, there's different thi
