one of the worst crept up on us on the nimitz freeway. on both the nimitz and interstate 580.s topic heading through oakland. this backup is a 47 minute drive time on the nimitz freeway out of san leandro into downtown oakland. it should be only half of that. as you can see, 580 will not save much time with all of the red showing on the road with sensors. also, a hot spot where watching on the peninsula, this was for 101 in the southbound direction at third avenue, the crash is there but it is not backing up traffic as badly as we thought that it would. the southbound ride is low, that you get a break before highway 92. it is actually taking some of the pressure off of the rest of the mid peninsula commute. the bridges have been heavy this morning especially in the bay bridge westbound. we are seeing a quick drop in the drive time, and leslie from 880. the drive time has dropped from 13 minutes. traffic on the bridge itself is pretty light out of the macarthur maze. and 80 minute drive time from highway 24 and 580. the san mateo bridge ride is not a problem. the tropical looks
