was -- 32-year- old andrew nisbet was arrested and faces 2 years in prison when -- 27 years in prison when sentenced next month. >>> some people who park at meters in downtown walnut creek say they've been wrongly ticketed because of a technical glitch. ktvu's alex savidge is live to explain the problem and what the city is doing to fix it. boy, this can be so frustrating, alex. >> reporter: very frustrating. you can imagine. the city right now is working to fix the glitch with certain parking meters in the downtown area and the issue here is with these in-ground sensors embedded in the pavement. they tell the parking meter when a car leaves the spot. but apparently some are too expensive and in some -- sense sensitive and show a car still parked. so the red light goes on, that shows no time left and that leads to drivers being wrongly ticketed. police say a car even parked too close by can accidentally trip the sensor. according to the contra costa times, a hundred drivers have been given tickets they didn't deserve this morning. one man told us he's skeptical of this technical glitc
