as "eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren tells us smoke could be seen for miles around that fire at 1150mauch chunk road. >> it was a frightening wake up call information moravian college students lived just feet from a fabrication company the bethlehem warehouse went up in flames before sunrise. >> we got a net case this morning on our phones there was a fire. >> reporter: sean says fire fighters work fast to contain the flames but the smoke lingered on moravian's campus. >> my whole room smelled of smoke. i got to class with a cough kind of thing. >> reporter: fire fighters say nobody was inside when the building ignited but some employees showed up to the scene in shock. crew his had todd cut power supplies to 300 area homes and part of the moravian's campus for much of the morning. >> approximately six hours the the power was shut down, for safety of our fire fighters here. >> reporter: since the warehouse handled sheet metal and oils fire fighters say it continued to smolder through the afternoon. emergency management crews are closely monitoring the air quality. >> it will be

"eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren shows us how police are stepping up the effort. >> reporter: hopping on i-95 this week could prove to be more of a white knuckle experience at the wheel then usual. new jersey state police say more eyes will be on the interstate through sunday. >> we are looking for speeding, seat belts, tailgating distract driving, and, of course, have month over law. >> reporter: added patrols are part of the i-95 challenge a multi state effort to reduce crash's long the major east coast interstate. >> this year it is a coordinated effort from florida to maine. this is the largest enforcement effort on the east coast. >> i have seen a lot more cops here on the road. >> reporter: truck driver eddie cruz spend a good chunk of his workweek on i-95. he is happy to see crews are cracking down on distract drivers. >> it makes me feel good. they are checking out things. >> reporter: so, why warn the public about added patrols. >> what we are hoping to do with publicity in our media is get out the message that people will change their behavior before we have to get t
