noel walker is there to tell us how those thieves got in there, noel? >> reporter: we all know schools are not exactly rolling in the dough right now and when the students return to school they will be the ones who suffer because the thieves are not on summer break this time. in the last break in, the thieves seemed to know what they were doing earlier this week because they removed a board that was recovering a smashed window from a previous burglary. the take this time was four cameras totaling $400 and that's pocket changed compared to the $3,300 on july 25th and $6,000 worth of computer equipment taken on july 8thth or 9th. now this is not the only palo alto school to be attended this summer by palo alto thieves. last week they suspected two men suspected of breaking in to the high school. police recovered stolen computers in that case. jordan high school has also been hit in palo alto and all told three schools over the summer break have had equipment cameras and computers more than $40,000 stolen and all of this during a time when schools are stru
