i'm vicki liviakis and i'm noelle bellow. 2 people are in custody for a series of takeovers that at one point. >> closed off the top deck of the bay bridge in the early hours of sunday morning. but the sideshows actually started saturday night on the peninsula. the first report came in around 11 o'clock saturday night in menlo park. police say more than 100 cars blocked the intersection of willow road and new bridge street. they say around 200 people gathered to watch some of them even standing in the middle of the road, almost getting hit by cars. as you can see in this video, police say some people even started kicking and jumping onto the hood of a patrol car. no one was hurt or arrested. yeah. but then about 30 minutes later, a sideshow by stanford in palo alto that broke out. police say dozens of people took over the intersection of >> coyote hill road in page mill road and no word on any arrests. there. we now head over to mountain view where just after midnight sunday, another sideshow broke out on middlefield road and hernando avenue. police say that a woman her her ankle after

i'm noelle bellow and i'm grant lotus in the wake of last week's altercation between a man and the mayor'ssecurity detail, which is one person the police union is calling on the city of san jose to give the mayor. >> more protection kron four's. dan kerman reports. >> doing an interview, how are you doing it was last tuesday during a kron 4 interview with san jose mayor matt mahan. when an altercation erupted between this man. 35 year-old wesley pollard and the plainclothes san jose police officer providing security for the mayor. pollard was ultimately arrested and charged with felony resisting an officer by means of violence and misdemeanor battery and disturbing the peace. the incident went on for nearly 4 minutes before a community member helped subdue pollard. now in this letter, the san jose police officers association, he's calling on san jose's acting police chief and city manager to double the mayor's security detail. >> having only one officer's part of a security detail for ranking member of the city. i was not sufficient was unsafe. >> steve sisolak is president of the san jose

i'm grant lotus and i'm noelle bellow kron. 4 camera, of course, catching most of the incident. it happened yesterday around 6. >> as one of our reporters was interviewing a san jose mayor matt mahan in downtown san jose kron four's dan kerman reports. >> san jose police say this man. 35 year-old wesley pollard has been arrested for battering a police officer and resisting arrest with violence. the incident was caught by kron 4 cameras during a tuesday evening interview with san jose mayor matt mahan at first in san fernando as steps right next to the mayor. both he and the plainclothes san jose police officer providing security for the mayor in-form pollard. that interview is under way do it. >> we're moving talking for mark. >> pollard uses profanity and tells the officer to mind his own business. what happens next is off camera. it's unclear who touches who first. but pollard is heard saying hall smack you right right now 9 seconds later, he does just that hitting the officer in the face and head at least twice at that point. a scuffle ensues and police are called witnesses s
