they need to be able to go out and buy from other companies including nokia and eriksson.urther alternatives to huawei in this dwiment equipment going forward. juliette: what sort of reaction has there been from the united states? >> well, as kathleen alluded to, the trump administration has been pushing very hard for s allies to ban huawei altogether. the reaction from the u.s. was pretty tough. there was a call between president trump and boris johnson. johnson explained why the country made this decision. but the reaction in washington was still pretty harsh. there were some republican senators in particular that called out the u.k. one said this special relationship between the u.s. and the u.k. is a little less special today. one senator went so far as to compare allowing huawei into the network to letting the k.g.b. into the network in the cold war. so they are not happy about this decision but the u.k. has made it at this point. they are going to go forward. there are limited options for the carriers to be able to use huawei gear. there are restrictions. it can't be
