myself being identified as a nonbinary individual, it's really exciting. especially because here in the transgender district, we do hope a monthly gender and -- gender change clinic to actually support individuals who are looking -- who are seeking to change their names, whether it is towards a binary gender or towards, now, the option of the nonbinary gender as well. it is a very exciting thing to see. and hopefully in the future we can see that same type of representation across the board, whether it is through health, economic aid, or anything that will essentially empower the nonbinary and transgender community. >> what is the district doing to support the members on a day-to-day basis? >> i will say we are engaging a lot with land use initiatives. we are making sure that we are making use of the physical space of the transgender district within the jurisdiction. we're putting up banners, we are working on planting more vegetation in the district. we want to make the crosswalks the trans flag. we're working on getting more housing, more arts and cultur
