now there could be quite a showdown come high noon. the national parks service began -- is going to begin to enforce a law that prohibits camping on federal parkland. they've been handing out flyers for several days notifying occupy d.c. demonstrators that they have until noon today to remove their belongings or risk answering them confeiscateconfi. the rules prohibit sleeping in the park, as well as camping equipment. so things like sleeping bags, cooking equipment, all of that has to be removed by noon. some people have already packed up their gear. we spoke to one gentleman. he says he doesn't want the police confiscating his things. he's already packed up his gear. others say they're in this for the long haul. that they plan to stay and potentially confront police if that's what's necessary and if that's what happens at noon. what exactly will happen, that's all unclear. again, the warning has gone out. there have been several days of distribution of flyers and the like. what happens at noon, we're going to have to wait and see. jo
