then there's norfolk southern, a railroad synonymous with coal.al csx, a big coal railroad, reported numbers last week and disappointed because of coal, norfolk southern got crushed right along with the rail compadre. when norfolk southern reported this morning, the business away from coal was so strong and coal itself wasn't so weak that the stock blasted higher, taking out its high from before when csx reported and then some. that's because the faltering csx set the expectation level so low that norfolk had no problem beating the newly diminished forecasts. intel, on the other hand, is still smarting, not from a truly disappointing quarter but from multiple upgrades that set the bar ridiculously high. there was no way intel could meet these expectations, it's been on a one-way trip down ever since, even though my charitable trust is trying to build a big position in the company in shares. gamestop, their earnings reports didn't meet the high standards set by multiple upgrades going right into the quarter. then there's united technologies. a litt

it happened this afternoon off the coast of norfolk. investigators spoke within the last few minutes. >> the search continues for that missing crew member near where that helicopter went down. cold waters of the atlantic ocean, here is what that helicopter looks like. agon,is a u.s. navy sea dr caring five crew members doing a training mission. a naval ship made its way to the scene along with the coast guard. four crew members were lifted from the water, one of whom died at a nearby hospital. the other three crew members are currently being treated. two are in stable condition. one is in surgery. their families are at the hospital while the community waits for answers. >> today has been a tough day on all of us. our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of those killed and injured. the distress call went out around 10:45. two navy helicopters assigned to this wing reported on station at 11:15. at 11:25, two crew members were recovered. at 11:30 up, the next two crew members were recovered. >> we do not know the ide
