the city of norfolk has honored a local firefighter with an employee excellence award for the work she has dodo the past year. bobbi risor, a firefighter and paramedic was nominated by the fire chief. risor says the rest of her crew is deserving of recognition and brings the best out of her. something that her chief says makes her a great person to nominate. "like i said, i don't feel like i deserve it, all these guys have part time jobs or some almost qualify as full time jobs. plus they all help each other, they help me much," said risor about the firefighters she works with daily. the city of norfolk has honored a local firefighter with an employee excellence award for the work she has done the past year. bobbi risor, a firefighter and paramedic was nominated by the fire chief. risor says the rest of her crew is deserving of recognition and brings the best out of her. something that her chief says makes her a great person to nominate. "like i said, i don't feel like i deserve it, all these guys have part time jobs or some almost qualify as full time other, they help me out. they've helped me out so much," said risor about the firefighters she works with daily.
