police received a tip about gunfire on norma jean way in san jose. asmuth smith is at the scene. >> reporter: if you take a look behind me, you can see the police are investigating this case. we just spoke with police within the last 15 minutes. here is what we know. around 3:30 this afternoon, police were called to a home on the 1500 block of marlene court in south san jose. when they arrived, they found two adult male deceased together inside the home. each of them had at least one gunshot wound. police believe they knew each other. some neighbors say they heard gunfire last night and tell us they are stunned. >> it is bizarre. i never ran across anything like this. this is really, really odd. this is a quiet neighborhood. very quiet. >> reporter: police are not sure what the motive is or the circumstances surrounding their deaths. right now they are interviewing witnesses, trying to get surveillance video from nearby homes. they do not know how long the bodies were out there for. they do not believe they have any outstanding suspects at this time.
