sausalito, as i would describe it, is norman rockwell on the west coast.ps, restaurants, everything you can think of in walking distance. set on back drop of san francisco bay with sail boats cruising around, seals splashing in the water, world famous alcatraz prison in eye shot, which is near to our hearts because that's where we got married in october 2009. we always looked at it from the other way from the city and now we have the opportunity to live here and want to make the most of the opportunity. tim and i lived in the presidio which is on the northern part of the tip of san francisco and it used to be the military base here back in the 1800s and 1900 and they converted it about 15 years ago to residential living and we lived in one of the units that the enlisted men would be in with their wives and families. we were there about eight years together so its absolutely gorgeous. beautiful views of the ocean and it hasn't been really developed, it's a lovely place to be. to commemorate our time here last year for the anniversary i purchased a print for
