back on set, norman solomon. he is organizing a network of sanders' delegates at this convention. norman, thanks for joining me. so we just heard from the clinton campaign. they're basically saying, yeah, their understanding is debbie wasserman-schultz is stepping down at the end of this convention. before that, she is going to speak to the convention tomorrow. she's going to gavel it in and give a speech. what's the response from bernie sanders' delegates going to be? >> i can't predict. my crystal ball is in the shop. but any speech from debbie wasserman-schultz is bound to be not well received by bernie delegates fo good reasons. six months ago, bernie was pointing out she was not fit to be chair of the dnc. why did it take six months? by the way, why wait till friday? she could resign today. >> she is now out. so, what you heard there from the clinton campaign, he hopes the sanders people recognize she's resigning, it's going to help from five days from now. what he's saying without saying it was be respectful when she comes out in the sake of party unity. >> she's going to be

also, what do you make of some sanders supporters -- we had norman solomon on the program yesterday,ho said he is not going to vote for hillary clinton in california. but in battleground states, he understands the necessity to vote for hillary clinton. what is your response to that kind of tactic or approach from some sanders supporters? >> let me say that i think there is more reasons than ever for bernie sanders to move over. as for the e-mail revelation, and the corporate media is characterizing this as they said bad things about bernie -- they did not just say bad things, the sabotaged his campaign. there were smear campaigns, in addition to other evidence of not counting votes, the super delegates and super tuesday. but it is clear that the illusion going on between the big media, the dnc, and between hillary's campaign, so these back,nives stuck in the absolutely outrageous and underhanded techniques that were used against bernie's campaign. we are encouraging them to actually repudiate his endorsement of hillary clinton and consider coming over and exploring with the green par

joining me is syndicated column 234i69 norman solomon, the head of the bernie sanders delegate networkes? were you involved in this walkout? >> actually i was in the california delegation spot and i wasn't even aware of a walkout. as i moved toward the exit, i saw a couple hundred people who were moving out of there. i think it was a psychological and political way of saying we have our own space, we don't want to disrupt -- actually there was not a disruption inside last night, but a way to say we affirm the values of this movement for social justice, to challenge wall street, to have humane priorities in this country. >> is that movement in terms of just this week over and done with? >> oh, no, none of this is over and done with. >> in terms of this week. hillary clinton clearly has the nomination and bernie sanders has made it clear he's in her corner. >> well, people are al firming this is for the long haul. i think that while, of course, there's tremendous disappointment and last night was very bittersweet for so many of us ber 234i delegates, we know this is a long-term process.
