norristown high speedline running every 20 minutes but they're saying:f< expect delays.n a snow emergency schedule so those times are going to be a little different than normal, karen. >> when we look at this temperature profile we could see we're at or above freezing everywhere right now and likely staying that way. it looks like we'll stay in the low to potentially mid 30's through the day. so right now a lot of snow is melting but that's not going to be the case later on as the snow intensifies and comes down heavily and kind of brings down its own cold air. we are concerned about how power outages -- more power outages. places like delaware county who already got hit so hard with this. snowfall rates of one to 2 inches per hour. thundersnow is possible. it's a heavy wet snow. while it is snow as you look north and west of the city we're going to get that mixing across i-95 and some rain south and east but this area north and west especially that's when we're expecting the most intense snow and 10 to 16-inches, matt and tam. >> thanks karen. time right now 5:24. so to the north and west you don't have a whole lot right now in norristown malvern downingtown a fewrries in coatesville and chadds ford but along i-95, along the schuylkill you're getting kind of that light snow right now. look as we go further to the south and that's where you see the brighter areas. you see the difference as we look at this picture? you're seeing all of the lavender right here and that's a good band of snow. that's why in evesham township we were showing you that shot and it's accumulated on the grass on the park benches there. that's woodstown glassboro berlin not quite in cherry hill but in hammonton and then you have that rain-snow line which is pushing a little closer to the city as the morning progresses but this is really just the beginning of it. the area of low pressure just starting to take shape. maybe 50 top 70 miles off the coastline right now. that's pushing just a little bit eastward. so we're going to see kind of a sharp cutoff with the snowfall as you look farther north and west. let's show you a future tracker and give you an idea what we expect.

starting here in norristown, this is 202, markley street at main street. no one is out and about just yet but the good news is the road here is just wet and that's the case in most places this morning. snow hasn't really started to stick to most of the road surfaces, just the grassy areas. let's head up main street to ridge pike, come down the blue route and this is the schuylkill right by 476, the blue route. you see the spray coming up off the vehicles there traveling in the eastbound lanes. the road has been treated. it's just wet at this point and really wet here this morning. this is by penn's landing, columbus boulevard, delaware avenue and just like yesterday, we have trees out here and we also have some big, big puddles that are kind of bogging things down, some flooding in the northbound lanes of columbus boulevard once again. so, i would stick with 95 instead. this is 95 in a different area, in bucks county, bristol township here in the ongoing work zone by 413. light volume at this point on 95 and again, the lanes are just wet. but going over to

norristown looking at big heavy flakes of snow. look at the temperature profile. we are starting to drop close to freezing but we will see the temperatures going up tomorrow morning as we wrapped in that warm air. this is key to it. if we are a couple of degrees above that freezing mark, we are still going to get that wet, sloppy snow. now, the highest risk of power outages is where we will see the swath of heaviest snow coming in. right now, we are going to be breaking this down for you. as we head into some of the suburbs, you can see westchester, phoenixville, chester, we could see power outages because of the heavy snow bringing down tree branches and also powerlines. as we head into the pennsylvania suburbs from philadelphia into montgomery county, look at this. abington, north town, richland. even parts of philadelphia included in this, and over into country lake and pemberton. then we headed out toward trenton and we could see some outages there. up into the lehigh valley. not quite as much. earlier it looked like the swath might be heavier. at this point,
